Summary:
Responsible for strategically planning and implementing outreach efforts focusing on local EMS providers in the hospital’s service area to best grow and develop hospital service lines as described in Tenet’s Guidance on Creation and Enhancement of Service Lines at Hospitals and the hospital business plans. The position primarily focuses on educating EMS personnel on hospital services with the goal of increasing selection of our services by these EMS companies due to our high standards for clinical quality and service. Responsible for system strategy helping to ensure market can execute on transfer acceptance rates, ER throughput processes and providing feedback to EMS to create positive patient outcomes and EMS experience. Work is to be performed in compliance with the Company’s Standards of Conduct and policies and procedures, particularly those involving referral source arrangements. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in business, health care administration, public health or related field.
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Master’s degree in business, health care administration, public health or related field.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 5 years of experience in a related field such as EMS/Paramedic, network development,
medically-related sales, or a similar role in a hospital or other healthcare setting, preferably from Tenet or a
company with a robust ethics and compliance program. Possesses and demonstrates excellent organization, interpersonal, facilitation, oral and written communication skills.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Clinical experience in identified service line.
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Licensed Paramedic
