POSITION SUMMARY
The Coordinator of Programs has responsibility for planning and leading the activities to meet all regulatory, accreditation and TenetHealth standards to assigned programs. In addition, will work to improve the functions associated with the operations that will enable Tenet to meet standards thus resulting in the best practices and patient outcomes. the Coordinator will work with the appropriate Corporate Team to ensure success and compliance of the program(s) and implement and monitor readiness activities for accreditation and certification surveys. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
PREFERRED EDUCATION: BSN
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 5 years in profession.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Trauma Coordinator or Program Management
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of current Texas State License for Registered Nurse.
REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR):
- Must have active healthcare provider AHA Basic Life Support on hire
- AHA PALS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Advanced Trauma Course for Nurses required.
- Trauma Outcomes Performance Improvement Course (TOPIC) required.
