Sierra Vista is fully accredited by The Joint Commission and has been serving the community since 1959.

POSITION SUMMARY

To plan, organize, direct, and perform maintenance service support. Serve as an assistant to a Plant Operations Director. Lead the maintenance team on all aspects of related work at the hospital through assignments as per Director of Plant Operations. To coordinate maintenance work. To maintain a purchasing system for materials and spare parts. Maintain accurate departmental records. Use the computer based Equipment Management Information System to record work order and P.M. information and access to other information. Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS

Desired Training/Education/Experience/Certification:

  • Three years in hospital environment with Plant Operations background preferred.
  • Four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with employees, consultants, other governmental agency representatives, city officials and the general public.
  • Security experience preferred.
  • Must have competent writing skills, computer skills and a competency in math.
  • The ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work with frequent interruptions is required.
  • Must have excellent people and communication skills to respond to complex situations with patients, visitors and staff.

Pay Range: $25.09 - $38.89

Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience
