Job Summary

Holiday Rotation:

Department: Inhouse Transport

Position Summary:

Safely transports patients between patient care units/departments and treatment areas, using appropriate means of transportation based on patient’s condition (wheelchair or gurney). Performs duties under the direction of the Registered Nurse. May perform additional support activities as directed.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:
High School graduate or equivalent


Minimum Experience/Skills:
Minimum six (6) months experience in an acute care setting preferred 
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing


Licenses/Certificates/Credentials:
Must possess and maintain throughout the duration of employment:
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Provider issued by the American Heart Association 
Current California Driver’s License issued by the California Department of Motor Vehicles
