Ultrasound Supervisor Full Time Days

Position Summary:
Under the direction of an Administrative Director, supervises and performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures. Supervises technologists, and ancillary personnel assigned within the department. Activates repairs and controls work progress within those areas of designated responsibility. On-call required; when on-call must arrive to the Hospital within 30 minutes.
Minimum Education:
Graduate of an accredited ultrasonography program
Minimum Experience/Skills:
Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in ultrasound technique
Licenses/Certificates/Credentials:
Certified with American Registry Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) (Abdomen & O.B.)
Effective January 1, 2011 Technologist must possess RVS, RVT or VS certification (within six months of hire/ transfer)
Current BLS certification for Health Care Providers (AHA certified)
