Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Sunnyvale is seeking a Facilities Office Coordinator to assist with departmental everyday duties.
What your day will look like:
- Support Facilities Director in analytic tasks related to departmental operations. (Plant Operations, EOC, Biomed, Safety, Security, and other areas as needed)
- Work together with other Facilities staff to answer phones, check in visitors and vendor/issue temporary security badges.
- Provide clerical support for the Director of Facilities and other Facilities staff as needed
- Maintain all files and documentation for the Facilities Department.
- Assists Facilities Department with entry of daily work orders, preventive maintenance items, and other entries as needed.
- Attend meetings, assembles meeting minutes, and assemble meeting agendas for Facilities run meetings
- Coordination with, purchasing, vendor and supplies on materials and projects
- Assist with documentation of hospital key program, Safety, Security, ECT.

Success Factors:
- High school diploma or GED
- Clerical skills with Microsoft Office
- At least 2 years of Facilities or Hospital experience preferred.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English; both verbally and in writing.
- Additional languages preferred.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Excellent computer knowledge and skills in working with Microsoft Office, and Computerized Maintenance Systems for analytics, publishing and graphics programs, and data entry.
- Possess organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Must be self motivated.
- Ability to use all office equipment.
- Able to type 60-70 words per minute, accurately.
