Are you a Registered Nurse with a passion for Clinical Nurse Education? Do you have specialized clinical experience? We are building our RN Clinical Education Team at Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham/Natick, MA. Opportunities are available in the following clinical areas:
- Critical Care
- Emergency Medicine
- Perinatal
- Med/Surg
- Psych/Behavioral Health
You will collaborate with the Market Education Director, facility Nursing Leadership and Staff across departments to assess, plan, develop, implement, facilitate, evaluate and revise educational programming for all levels of nursing and non-nursing staff. The Nurse Educator acts as a key resource in the orientation and continuing education of nursing staff. You will implement comprehensive education programs for our assigned units while contributing to the educational goals and vision.
- Develop and deliver nursing education programs. Support the educational needs of assigned units through classroom instruction, clinical experiences and learning technologies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
- Lead professional development and mentorship – provide coaching, mentoring and guidance to nurses, preceptors, nurse residents, students and colleagues to support professional growth and clinical excellence.
- Coordinate continuing education and specialized training.
- Support Quality Improvement and Clinical Practice Enhancement.
Qualifications:
Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing, nursing education or related specialty.
Required Licensure/Certification: Current state licenses and certifications (ACLS, PALS and TNCC)
Experience: 3+ years of current experience in area of specialty.
