Job Summary
Maintains building plumbing fixtures and systems. Facilitates repairs, replacement, and upgrades to all plumbing systems to ensure a safe and functional facility.
Job Responsibilities
Under general direction, inspects, installs, repairs, and replaces pipes, fittings, and plumbing fixtures to maintain the heating, water, gas, and drainage systems of the hospital. Installs new plumbing system components, faucets, sinks, toilets, valves, etc. Performs other related tasks to the maintenance, service, repair, testing, inspection and installation of plumbing/piping systems and components. May provide assistance to other maintenance personnel in performing repair and service functions. At management’s discretion, performs other related duties consistent with minimum level of preparation and training required and department demands/needs.
Qualifications:
Educations:
Required: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred: Graduate of trade or vocational school in related field
Certifications:
Required: Journey plumber license
