Administrative Fellow Hospital Admin Full Time Days Position Summary

All positions within Carondelet St. Joseph’s Hospital are part of an interdisciplinary team and as such participate in the care and service delivery process through effective interaction with other team members.  The Administrative Fellow will be based at Carondelet St. Joseph’s Hospital.  Every attempt will be made to showcase and expose the fellow to activities and functions that cross the Hospital.  Opportunities will be identified that develop Hospital initiatives. The purpose of basing the fellow at Carondelet St. Joseph’s Hospital will be to maintain a singular reporting relationship for development and mentoring activities.  Our desire is to identify, develop and cultivate talent which has been tied to the long-term succession planning for our hospital. 

Responsibilities 

Completes special projects as requested by various administrators. 

Completes administrative rotation and attends various Administrative Medical Staff  meetings. 

Prepares reports and summaries of activities as requested for Administrators. 

Attends and prepares minutes of weekly Administrator’s meetings 

Enhances professional expertise by attending professional seminars and workshops 

Performs additional duties as required 

Conform to established Standards of Behavior

THE ADMINISTRATIVE FELLOW HOSPITAL ADMIN FULL TIME DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE

EDUCATION:  

Required:  Bachelor’s Degree. Actively pursuing Master’s Degree in Business, Hospital and/or Health Administration or related degree program.

Preferred:  Master’s Degree in Business, Hospital and/or Health Administration or related degree program.
