Description
Position Summary
- Performs and monitors echocardiogram (cardiac ultrasound) procedures.
- Calculates, measures, and documents appropriate values on the tests performed for review and interpretation by physicians.
- Communicates with physicians, managers, and co-workers as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical conditions while undergoing echocardiogram.

- Schedules, prepares, administers and reports interpretations of Echocardiograms,
- M-mode, 2-dimensional
- Doppler, color flow mapping
- Transesophageal imaging & Stress ECHO and assists Cardiologist
Qualifications
Qualifications
Minimum education is Graduate of an approved ARDMS school.
Preferred Experience as an Echocardiographic Technician under the supervision of a Certified Technician and a Cardiologist.
Required Certification is Echocardiographic Technician Certification, CPR.
