EVS Associate III Full Time Days Position Summary:

-Provides environmental cleaning services. Responsible to maintain the facility in a sanitary, neat, attractive and safe condition at all times. Responsible to maintain the floors running heavy cleaning equipment, walls and baseboards in a clean manner including stripping and refinishing, carpet cleaning, and burnishing.

-Sanitizes all surfaces of the facility using a germicidal cleaner.

-Performs dust mop and mopping all tile floors. Performs burnishing of floors.

-Performs carpet cleaning and vacuuming.

-Strips and refinishes floors.

-Removes infectious and non-infectious waste.

-Performs project cleaning in designated areas.

-Cleans walls, doors, and baseboards, picks up trash and delivers linen/laundry.

-Maintains accurate records including discharges, pager sign-out sheets, cart sign-out sheets, and Kronos corrections.

-Other related job tasks or responsibilities as assigned.

THE EVS ASSOCIATE III FULL TIME DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE.

EDUCATION

Required: Ability to read, to follow oral and/or written instructions in English.

Preferred: High school or equivalent.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Preferred: Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare environment preferred.

Special Skills: Ability to read, to follow oral and/or written instructions in English. Ability to prioritize work. Must have good customer service skills.
