- Maintains all refrigeration equipment to ensure proper efficient operation.
- Preforms preventative maintenance and repairs on dietary refrigeration equipment, water coolers and, HVAC split systems.
- Maintains inventory of refrigerants and comply with all EPA regulations on the safe handling and disposal of refrigerants.
Position Summary
Maintains facility refrigeration equipment and systems. Repairs and replaces refrigeration equipment to ensure safe efficient operations of the equipment.
- Minimum Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Three years of progressive experience with a HVAC repair or mechanical contractor experience in a commercial or hospital service environment - Licensure/Certification: Air conditioning and refrigeration license
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Preferred Requirements:
- Education: Graduate of trade or vocational school in related field
