Job Summary:
The Comprehensive Breast Scheduler uses clinical knowledge to schedule convenient and prompt appointments for outpatient breast imaging testing, clarifies proper diagnosis for pertinent procedure, ensures prior breast imaging is available and communicate with breast imaging team members. Communicates with breast radiologist, physician offices and patients daily ensuring that accurate information is documented in all computer systems. Completes Comprehensive Breast Center booking sheet for breast radiology/breast manager approval. Works in collaboration with Breast Biopsy Coordinator to schedule breast imaging biopsies. Ensures the patient knows the proper test preparation & location of site.

Education:
• High School Graduation or Equivalent.
Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations:
• None
Experience:
• 1 to 2 years experience in medical facility, health insurance and or scheduling, or related area preferred. Six months to a year customer service role. Familiar with call center environment preferred. Some college coursework desirable with strong medical/clinical background. Medical terminology is preferred.
