Responsibilities:
  1. Directs Management in all departments as to daily operational requirements
  2. Plans and recommends development of physical facilities and related security components
  3. Monitors projects to stay within parameters of projected schedule
  4. Interviews contractors to receive and analyze bids.
  5. Recommends action to Administrator.
  6. Budgets

Qualifications

EDUCATION

  • Minimum: High School Diploma
  • Preferred: Bachelor Degree

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 5 years hospital experience.
  • Knowledge of codes and regulations as it pertains to hospitals.

LICENSURE/ CERTIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrable required.

Summary

The Director of Plant Operations oversee and manage the operations of the Maintenance, Engineering, Communications, Bio-Medical, Security, Valet and Front Desk as well as maintain regulatory compliance and adherence to all A.H.J issues and codes. To also oversee and act as hospital liaison for all construction projects and maintain current on all issues of joint commission compliance. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
