Job Summary
This position is responsible for assisting the CFO in Proforma development for the employment of physicians. Responsible for collecting, analyzing and interpreting numerous documents during the due diligence phase. This will includeprofit and loss statements, billing reports, real estate leases, equipment leases, managed care contracts, on-call agreements, Medical Directorships and other legal documents.

Responsible for collecting, analyzing and interpreting numerous documents during the due diligence phase
Preparation of a five year financial proforma along with a detailed narrative summarizing all assumptions used and an overview of the current structure of the existing practice
Required to contact the physician or designee (Accountant, Office Manager, Billing Company) to answer questions in regards to due diligence
May be required to present the final proforma results to the physician/physicians seeking employment
Assist with the preparation of the quarterly forecast and annual budget/business plan at a physician practice level as well as monthly production of benchmarking reports
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field of study.
Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related area preferred.
Requires a minimum of two to three years’ experience in finance or accounting. Healthcare background is strongly desirable. Experience with multi-specialty physician medical practices is strongly preferred. Must have current knowledge and experience in finance concepts, practices, and procedures.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word and Outlook).
Excellent project management skills. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic work environment while remaining customer focused; willingness to take ownership and drive a project to completion.
Strong analytical skills. Ability to track, report and analyze data to ensure validity and consistency of programs and make data-based decisions and recommendations.
Ability to work well with other team members and consultants in remote offices as well as independently.
Willingness to be flexible and adaptable in a complex, matrix environment
