Position Summary
The Radiology Supervisor supervises and coordinates the daily activities of the Outpatient Imaging Centers including scheduling staff, patient safety protocols and direct and indirect patient care. Interviews, trains and evaluates radiology/imaging staff. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
- Graduate of an accredited program for Radiologic Technologists
EXPERIENCE
- Two years’ experience as a Radiologic Technologist with knowledge of neuro, muscular skeletal, breast and vascular imaging.
LICENSE
- Licensed Radiologic Technologists, State of Florida (HRS)
CERTIFICATIONS
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Current CPR (BCLS) certification

- Supervises, coordinates schedules, interviews, trains, and evaluates staff.
- Proficient operation of all imaging sequences, safety and emergency quench procedures.
- Maintains equipment and utilizes protective devices to insure patient and employee safety.
- Assures correct patient information on requests, reports and PACS.
Qualifications
