Position Summary:
Communicate with patients and patient families, liaison with clinical staff
Oversight for reporting and improving patient satisfaction.
Response to patient concerns
Development of proactive action plans for improvement of patient experience at SVH 
Coaching and support for staff and leaders regarding patient experience

EDUCATION
Bachelors Degree in Nursing/healthcare/Psychology/Sociology/Counseling or related field required.                                                                                                 Experience in Nursing or Patient Advocate may be acceptable in lieu of an advanced degree.

EXPERIENCE
Preferred: 2 years’ experience in Nursing                                                                                                                                                                                                 Required: service related position (healthcare, Psychology, Social Services, Education Counseling and/or Customer Service) required, including experience in drafting correspondence to patients or customers.                                                                                                                                                                                              Experience utilizing MS word and in the regular use of email as a means of business communication required.  Excel and PowerPoint proficiency preferred.                   Conflict resolution and/or counseling highly desirable.
