Student Physical Therapist PRN Days Summary:
Under the general supervision of the rehab manager, the rehab tech will perform duties based on the level of education they have achieved in their specific program. At a minimum they will be tasked with providing assistance to the therapist in the outpatient department for set-up of patient treatments and wrap-up of patient care. They may be asked to assist with hand-on care when patients require two assist for more skilled interventions. The tech will also be trained on front desk support and clinic maintenance such and equipment cleaning and stocking.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma. Enrollment in a physical therapy, physical therapy assistant or occupational therapy assistant degree program, or similar degree program. Able to read, write, and speak English.
Certifications:
CPR-BLS-American Heart Association or other accepted organization.
