Children’s Hospital of Michiganis an international leader in pediatric and adolescent medicine. Surgical services include general, thoracic, reconstructive and cardiovascular. Experts in pediatric critical care, rehabilitation, and neonatal and perinatal medicine provide care for thousands of children every year at Children’s Hospital of Michigan, Children’s Hospital of Michigan - Troy and six ambulatory sites.

Job Summary

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, performs duties related to the preparation, service, and transport of patient, staff, and guest meals. These may include but are not limited to taking inventory and maintaining records, stocking food and supplies, food preparation, setup and service, and transport of food and supplies; cleaning and sanitizing all equipment and work areas between use; maintaining accurate cash operations. May prepare, deliver/collect, and review daily patient menus to ensure selections are in accordance with prescribed diet. May transport food and supplies within or between hospitals. May prepare and deliver patient formulas.



Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.

2. Additional experience/training required dependent upon discipline.
