Director of Radiology Position Summary:
Responsible for the direction and coordination of the activities of the assigned division in order to execute daily operations and meet the objectives of the hospital Plan for the Provision of Patient Care. Sets standards and evaluates the quality and effectiveness of care delivered. Has administrative responsibility for assigned departments and for program development within the Department. Works collaboratively with medical staff and hospital administration to personalize the Piedmont Medical Center strategic plan. Leads and participates in development of programs and services to increase hospital utilization by physicians and patients.
This position provides leadership to X-Ray, MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and IR at several of our sites in Fort Mill, SC.
THE DIRECTOR OF RADIOLOGY CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE:

Education/Other Qualifications:
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.
Minimum Experience: At least 3 years supervisory experience in hospital setting; at least 5 years of clinical experience (X-Ray, CT, IR, MRI, etc)
Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses: ARRT registry
