Now Hiring: Nurse Extern II – Per Diem | Day Shift
Expected Graduation December 2025 or earlier.
Abrazo Arrowhead Campus | 67th Ave & W Union Hills Dr, Glendale, AZ
For students graduating no later than January 15, 2026
Orientation: Sept 2nd, 3rd & 8th | Training: 2 days/week required post-orientation

About the Nurse Extern II Role
As a Nurse Extern at Abrazo, you’ll work under the guidance of experienced RNs while supporting patient care in a meaningful way. This position is recognized by the Arizona Board of Nursing and is designed for nursing students who have completed at least two clinical rotations and graduating no later than January 15, 2026.
What You'll Do
• Assist in gathering patient data and documenting in the medical record
• Perform basic nursing skills (with documented competency and per facility policy)
• Gain hands-on experience that enhances your nursing education
• Collaborate with a team focused on patient-centered care and evidence-based practice
Who We're Looking For
✔ Currently enrolled in a board-approved/accredited nursing program
✔ Completed at least two clinical rotations (third semester preferred)
✔ Graduating by Jan 15, 2026
✔ Current BLS/CPR certification
✔ Available for training 2 days per week following orientation
✔ Committed to safe, compassionate, and professional care
