Unit Secretary – Med/Surg (Full-Time, Days)
Location: Abrazo Arrowhead Campus | 67th Ave & W. Union Hills Dr, Glendale, AZ
Schedule: Day shift 6:00 AM–6:30 PM, three 12-hour shifts/week, every other weekend required

What You’ll Do
- Perform core clerical duties to keep the nursing unit running smoothly
- Manage records: prepare, compile, maintain, and file charts and reports
- Transcribe physicians’ orders accurately and promptly
- Coordinate patient flow: schedule/sign patients in and out for surgeries, treatments, and tests
- Maintain supplies: place orders, track deliveries, and handle special requests
- Serve as the unit’s communication hub: answer phones/intercom, relay messages, greet and direct visitors
- Assist clinicians in locating charts and the appropriate primary nurse
- Support quality initiatives with routine/confidential reports and audit assistance
What You Bring
- Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED
- Required Skills: Familiarity with medical terminology; basic computer proficiency
- Preferred Experience: Previous experience as a Unit Secretary
- Preferred Certification: CPR
