The Practice Development Manager is responsible for coordinating and executing the internal marketing operations for local markets within Tenet Physician Resources.

The Manager will facilitate TPR physician practice and business development efforts by establishing relationships with outside healthcare professionals and the community, and act as a liaison for all outsourced marketing functions. Identifies business development opportunities; establishes and maintains relationships with healthcare professionals and strategic partners; oversees marketing initiatives including print materials, and TV, radio and print ads; coordinates and participates in community health fairs, community lectures and seminar series; and supports action plan development for increased volume initiatives by provider, including provider/residency open houses.

  • Act as lead resource to Group Leaders regarding business development activities as well as operational and management projects assigned by the Leader(s).
  • Develop content for RFPs and pitch/presentation opportunities via the development of written proposal and presentation materials, and liaise with client teams including participating in practice group meetings to ensure presentation of content is consistent 

• Monitor and analyze competitive activity, client and company, sector and geographic trends, assess implications and make marketing recommendations based on the research.
• Work with the Senior Leadership in overall Business Development/Marketing Plan 

• Other responsibilities as deemed appropriate by leadership.

Qualifications

  • Requires five (5) years of related experience. Healthcare industry experience preferred. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing is required
  • Demonstrated skill using MS Office products including Excel and Word 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to establish priorities, coordinate work activities, and manage multiple projects
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to gather, analyze and interpret information
