Summary

Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant provides physical therapy services to patients with various diagnoses as prescribed by a licensed physician.

Responsibilities

Customer Focus - Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant meets and strives to exceed all customer needs. Promotes positive image of the Medical Center. Displays attentiveness, tact, confidentiality and diplomacy in responding to others.

Productivity Meets performance expectations for volume, timeliness, and quality.

Work Initiative Originates, develops, or implements new methods to accomplish objectives.

Judgment Makes practical decisions and recommendations reflecting logical analysis of problems and/or issues.

Communication Conveys information in a concise, accurate, and understandable manner, and applies confidentiality as appropriate. Uses key words at key times.

Teamwork - Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant works together to maximize results within the Department, as well as throughout the Medical Center. Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to work process change, makes decisions and takes appropriate actions to solve problems.

Qualifications

Education

Required: Associates degree in Physical Therapist Assistant

Experience

Preferred: 1 year experience

Certifications

Required: Florida LPTA License, BLS approved by the American Heart Association

Acute Care / Physical Therapist Assistant / Per Diem / Weekdays / Weekends / Flexible Hours
