Nursing Admin Coordinator Full Time Days Position Summary

Responsible for ensuring adequate staffing for Abrazo Health Care facilities. Ensures and maintains staffing files for licensure, certifications, education, and competences for contracted staff and flex pool staff. Serves as the liaison with outside supplemental agencies.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Self-directed in learning new information and programs. Problem solver. Ability to respond to a rapidly changing environment.

KRONOS 

  • Supports timekeeping for house supervisors, CVICU, Stepdown, PCU, Respiratory Therapy, Sitter, Monitor Tech
  • Daily time editing for missed punches, education, meeting, PTO,PST, Preceptor/ Charge pay
  • Weekly CCP excel spreadsheet entry, verification, approval and signatures and forwards to payroll for processing
  • Sends time detail report to Amn/agency for contract staff

TRA

  • Monitoring and daily communication with TRA payroll for movement of hours to specific cost centers

LMRS

  • Daily LMRS review to transfer hours to appropriate cost centers including TRA staff hours transfers

CHARGES

  • PBAR charge entry for MIDlines/PICC lines/ Nursing procedure charges
  • Research and correct late charges or missed charges
  • Ensures charges are entered appropriately

DIALYSIS

  • Daily entry for Fresenius/HD charges; in house CRRT; invoice review for charge discrepancies; invoice corrections
  • Research late charges and correct entries in PBAR

Office Supplies

  • Checks office supply orders for CVICU, Stepdown and Nursing Admin
  • Orders supplies for office/desk/unit use such as paper, toner, forms

Notary

  • Notary duties for patients/visitors as needed

Interpreter

  • Official interpreter for the Spanish Language 

System access

  • Ensures all CVICU/RT/SD staff has needed system access
  • Requests for access as needed

Attendance

  • Checks monthly attendance/tardiness
  • Keeps/controls staff vacation requests

NURSING ADMIN FULL TIME DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.

MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent GED.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Typing; advanced computer skills. Attention to detail and organized. Excellent customer service skills.
