Clinical Quality Improvement Manager for Abrazo Medical Group

The individual in this position assists the DCQI in the operations of the hospital's Quality/Performance improvement program. Supports quality and process improvement efforts identified in the hospital. Responsible for data tracking/collection and trending. Coordinates, assists, and advice on a variety of meetings, seminars, services, and/or programs related to the overall Quality/Performance Improvement program. Coordinates hospital-wide performance improvement activities under the direction of the DCQI.

This individual's responsibilities include the following activities:
- Coordinating integration and management of the Quality/Performance Improvement Program with the guidance of the DCQI to meet regulatory requirements including Joint Commission and state statutes, to identify performance improvement opportunities to enhance the organization's outcomes.
- Carries out the assignments as delegated by the DCQI, and coordinates reports, correspondence, and information as needed.
- Collaborates with the department directors to compile and generate reports for analysis and interpretation for the Quality/Performance Improvement department/Committee.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
Required: Registered Professional Nurse (RN) with a bachelor's degree ot higher in a patient care related field.
Experience:
Required: 3 years of experience in QA/PI.
Certifications:
Required: Must be currently licensed, certified, or registered to practive profession as required by law, regulation in the state of practice, or policy.
Preferred: CPHQ or other certification in Healthcare Quality
