Job Title: EVS Supervisor – Full-Time, Day Shift
Location: Abrazo Central Campus | 19th Ave & Bethany Home Rd, Phoenix, AZ
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Most Days) | 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM (One Day per Week)

Overview:

Abrazo Central Campus is seeking a motivated and experienced EVS Supervisor to lead and support our Environmental Services (EVS) team. In this key leadership role, you will assist in overseeing daily operations, supervising staff, ensuring high-quality standards of cleanliness, and contributing to patient satisfaction. This full-time role is essential to support the EVS Manager, who also oversees Dietary operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support environmental services staff across shifts
  • Lead two daily department huddles alongside the EVS Manager
  • Create and maintain housekeeping staff schedules using Kronos
  • Conduct room and public area inspections for quality assurance
  • Manage supply ordering, inventory, and vendor coordination
  • Assist with training, recruiting, and employee engagement activities
  • Handle labor management and assist with budgeting tasks
  • Take ownership of special projects and respond to STAT cleaning requests
  • Participate in department planning and regulatory compliance activities
  • Provide hands-on assistance with cleaning and project work when needed

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 3 years of environmental services experience
  • Basic computer skills: Email, Microsoft Word, Excel
  • Familiarity with Kronos, supply ordering, and scheduling systems
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation
  • Minor project management abilities

Preferred:

  • 1 year of prior supervisory experience
  • Internal Housekeeping Association Certification

Special Skills:

  • Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions in English and Spanish
  • Adaptable to changing facility needs and able to prioritize tasks
  • Capable of assisting with employee discipline, evaluations, and hiring
  • Approves supply orders and contributes to department strategic planning
