Abrazo Arizona Heart Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. As an HR Generalist, you will play a crucial role in the success of our organization by overseeing all aspects of human resources. This includes implementing HR policies and procedures, managing employee relations, onboarding new staff members, and ensuring compliance with all employment laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal skills, have a strong understanding of HR best practices, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations
  • Manage all aspects of the onboarding process and new hire orientation
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, and disciplinary actions
  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits and leave programs, including enrollment, claims management, and compliance with FMLA and ADA regulations
  • Conduct investigations into complaints and allegations of employee misconduct and harassment, ensuring a fair and equitable resolution
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, attendance records, and performance evaluations
  • Assist in the development and delivery of employee training programs, including topics such as diversity and inclusion, sexual harassment prevention, and workplace safety

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5-7 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, and EEOC guidelines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Proficient in HRIS systems and other HR software applications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and develop proactive solutions

THE HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.

Education
Required: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

Experience
Required: 5-7 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role

Certifications
Preferred: SHRM-SCP, SPHR or CHHR, or equivalent HR certification
