Now Hiring: Patient Care Assistant – Stepdown Unit (Full Time | Day Shift)
Abrazo Central Campus | 19th Ave & Bethany Home Rd, Phoenix, AZ
6 AM – 6 PM | 3 shifts per week
Are you ready to take the next step in your healthcare career? At Abrazo Central Campus, we’re seeking compassionate, reliable, and team-driven Patient Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our Stepdown Unit during full-time day shifts.
In this role, you’ll be an essential part of our care team—helping patients feel safe, supported, and comfortable as they transition through their healthcare journey.
What You'll Do:
• Support nursing staff in delivering exceptional patient care
• Assist with personal hygiene, vital signs, bed changes, and mobility
• Serve meals, offer nourishment, and help maintain a clean environment
• Prepare and care for medical equipment and supplies
• Work closely with RNs and supervisors under clear and supportive guidance
Qualifications:
Minimum:
High School Diploma/GED OR valid CNA or PCA/PCT certificate
Current CPR certification
Willingness to complete EKG training for designated units
Preferred:
One year experience in an acute care setting
CNA/LNA certified through the Arizona State Board of Nursing
