Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Full-Time Evenings | 1300–0130)

Location: Abrazo Central Campus, 2000 W. Bethany Home Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85015
Shift: Evenings | 1:00 PM – 1:30 AM

Join the dedicated team at Abrazo Central Campus, located on 19th Avenue and Bethany Home Road, and provide compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced, team-oriented ER environment. This full-time evening position offers the opportunity to grow your career while supporting patients during peak hours of need.

Position Overview

As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will:

• Deliver individualized, age-appropriate, direct bedside care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and optimize patient care.
• Supervise and delegate care responsibilities to healthcare staff during your shift.
• Monitor, assess, and document patient progress and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Engage in hourly rounding and maintain a strong focus on patient safety and satisfaction.
• May serve as charge nurse during assigned shifts.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience OR
  2+ years of ICU experience in an acute care setting.
• Skilled in managing high-acuity patients in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to teamwork.
• Comfortable with electronic health records and basic computer systems.

Qualifications

Education

• Required: Associate’s or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited school
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Licensure & Certifications

• Active RN license in the State of Arizona
• BLS and ACLS certifications (ACLS must be obtained by the end of orientation)
• PALS or ENPC certification required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire
