Job Title: Speech Therapist (Per Diem – Day Shift)
Location: Abrazo Central Campus – Phoenix, AZ
Schedule: Per Diem | Day Shift
Job Type: On-site

Overview:
Abrazo Central Campus is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our inpatient rehab team on a per diem basis. This is a flexible opportunity for an experienced clinician to contribute to a high-performing team in an acute care setting while maintaining a balanced schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Conduct and interpret Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies in collaboration with medical and radiology staff
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical goals
  • Document all clinical activities accurately and in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and strategies

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Arizona Speech-Language Pathology license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or current enrollment in a Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
  • BLS/CPR certification
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in speech-language pathology (acute care required)
  • Experience with modified swallow assessments; MBS experience strongly preferred

  • Excellent clinical judgment and documentation abilities
