Clinical Nurse Specialist- Full Time Days RN Surgical Telemetry/ Clinical Decision Unit (New Grad Unit), Stepdown Unit- Position Summary
Full time, day shift and business hours. We are aiming to keep this role out of staffing between Obs and PCU (now Surgical Telemetry) to support new grads and new hires. Also will assist in quality leadership activities for the units and supporting the Manager and Director with leadership support items.
The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.
THE RN CLINICAL NURSE SPECIALIST FULL TIME DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.

Minimum Education: Associates degree in Nursing required. BSN or Masters with a specialty in education is preferred but not required.
Minimum Experience:  Each candidate s previous clinical experience is reviewed to determine acceptable experience.One year of telemetry experience preferred.CCRN preferred.
Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses: A valid Permanent Multi-State RN License from the state in which you reside is required.Should you hold a RN license from another Compact state, you are required to apply for and obtain a Multi-State RN License from the state in which you reside within 30 days.American Heart Association BLS CPR required.American Heart Association ACLS is required within 6 months of hire for PCU
