EMS Director Full Time Days Position Summary

Accountable for managing, planning, organizing and reviewing activities and functions of the Emergency Medical Services department. Responsible for development and modification of the Emergency Preparedness Plan and other Joint Commission activities.

Minimum Education: Master’s degree in business or public administration or other relevant area of study preferred.

Minimum Experience: Ten (10)year’s Emergency Medical Services experience preferred. Must have managerial experience in related field and possess strong interpersonal skills.

Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses: SC Paramedic required upon employment. NR EMT-P required within 6 months of hire date. America Heart Association BLS and ACLS required. American Heart Association PALS or PEPP required within orientation period.
