ED Tech FT Nights Position Summary

The Emergency Dept Tech I holds shift accountability for providing care to patients in accordance with RN direction, Physician direction, and recognized techniques, standards of practices and hospital policy and procedures in the Emergency Department and related areas.

Responsibilities

This position will support all the facilities in the market as needed. May require prior experience with IV insertion, blood draws and placing 12 Lead ECGs.

THE ED TECH FULL TIME NIGHTS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.

Education

Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred: Graduate of an Emergency Medical Technician Program

Experience

Preferred: Emergency Medical Technician experience

Certification

Required: Current EMT-Basic (EMT-B) or EMT-Intermediate (EMT-I) certification. BLS.
