Speech Therapist PRN Days Position Summary
Provides optimal speech-language pathology services to include evaluations, treatment, planning, patient/family education and discharge planning for patients with disorders of communication, swallowing and cognition referred by Licensed Independent Practitioner. Participates in department and program development and operations. All assessment and treatment media, approaches and techniques will be appropriate and specific to population served including general rehabilitation services to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
THE SPEECH THERAPIST PRN DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.

Education/Other Qualifications:
Minimum Education: Master’s degree in speech-language pathology.
Minimum Experience: Must possess ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team with 1 to 5 years experience preferred.
Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses: Must have current licensure in South Carolina and Certification of Clinical Competency in speech/language pathology. American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required.
