Qualifications
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited AMA School of Cardiology
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years of clinical experience as an ECHO Tech II
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 1 year of supervisory experience
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of current Texas State License. ARDMS and/or CCI
REQUIRED COURSES/COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): BLS-Obtained through approved American Heart Association Training Center or the Military Training Network.

Description
Position Summary
Coordinates assignments of NICL staff. Provides supervision of staff in the absence of Coordinator/Director. Provides non-invasive testing/care to patients. Performs echocardiograms including but not limited to M-Mode, 2-Dimensional, convention and /or color flow Doppler and TEE Echocardiogram. Performs pediatric Echocardiogram and maintains current registry in either ARDMA or CCI. Provides electrocardiograms and 24-hour holter montor hook-ups. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
