Position Summary

The Manager works with hospital departments to facilitate daily activities such as requisitioning of supplies, services and equipment; manages the daily workload of receiving, stocking, picking, and distribution of same; manages the acquisition of capital by managing the process, ensuring appropriate approval processes are followed, overseeing service contracts, etc. Participates with local Value Analysis Team members on implementing all contracts for supplies, equipment, and services as approved; disseminates all approved contract information to affected hospital staff while aggressively implementing same for timely savings goals as established and approved by Value Analysis Teams Understands all regulatory requirements of the position as mandated by client or governmental agencies.

  • Responsible for the entire operation of the General Stores Warehouse.
  • Manages the Mail Room operation.
  • Assists in cost containment for Materials Management
  • Oversees the Materials Management charge master process.
