*Up to a $15,000.00 sig-on bonus for experienced applicants*

POSITION SUMMARY

Performs hemodynamic monitoring procedures of a highly specialized nature as well as assists the physician during all procedures.
Works with patients from adolescents to geriatrics. In addition trains Cardiovascular Technicians and other Cath Lab personnel.
Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of a certificate or degree granting program or post-secondary educational
program in health science. or equivalent education

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years of interventional Cath Lab or 2 years of Electrophysiology experience.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: NA

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or
Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT)

REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR):

  • Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must
    have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire
  • AHA ACLS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role.
