Position: Lab Assistant II – PRN (Per Diem), Rotating Shifts
Location: Abrazo Arrowhead Campus | 67th Ave & W. Union Hills Dr, Glendale, AZ
Looking to keep your phlebotomy and lab skills sharp while enjoying flexible scheduling? Abrazo Arrowhead is seeking a PRN Lab Assistant II to support our laboratory team on rotating shifts. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in specimen collection and processing that directly impacts patient care and treatment decisions.
What You’ll Do
- Perform specimen collection and phlebotomy with accuracy and compassion
- Register, label, and distribute specimens to the appropriate lab departments
- Conduct CLIA-waived tests as assigned
- Ensure specimen integrity throughout collection, transport, and processing
- Use lab information systems and equipment to support timely, accurate results

Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required); completion of a phlebotomy program (preferred)
- Experience: 1 year of lab experience and/or completion of formal phlebotomy training (required)
- Certifications: National phlebotomy certification such as ASCP, ANP, or ASPT (preferred)
- Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy and patient care
